League City, Texas- Based on the 2020 Census data, the Clear Creek Independent School District grew by 37,162 in population over the past ten years from 210,563 to 247,725. This level of growth has prompted the school district to redraw the boundaries for single member districts. This process is legislatively required to balance populations within the five school board seats.

This process is not to redraw school attendance boundaries. Those boundaries remain unchanged.

On December 6, 2021, the CCISD Board of Trustees held a workshop to discuss several options. Of the five options presented, the board members indicated Draft Plan E was their preference as the school board district lines closely align with high school boundaries.

The Board will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. on Monday, December 13, 2021, at the CCISD Education Center, 2425 East Main Street, League City, Texas.
