The 2018 National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) Induction for the Clear Creek Independent School District recognized 476 students representing Clear Brook High School, Clear Creek High School, Clear Falls High School, Clear Lake High School, Clear Springs High School and Clear View High School.
NTHS is an organization that allows top Career and Technical Education (CTE) students to be recognized for their success in their various career fields, such as health care and medical science, business and marketing, hospitality, engineering, logistics, metal manufacturing and more.
“NTHS students embody all the attributes and talent which is in demand today,” said CTE Director Dana Morgan. “These students also embrace a clear vision for tomorrow’s workforce and their role in it.”
Clear Creek ISD's CTE program reinforces state and national academic standards by providing students training in career areas of interest to them. The goal is to ensure that students are prepared to succeed in post-secondary education and in a world that is increasingly oriented toward highly skilled jobs.
The NTHS was established in 1984 to reward excellence in technical education, encourage students to reach for higher levels of achievement, promote business and industry's critical career-based values and help schools build and maintain effective partnerships with local business and industry.
