Cafeteria Protocol

Breakfast and lunch time on your child's campus will look a little different this year with our social distancing guidelines. Watch as CCISD Director of Child Nutrition Fred Walker shows us how students will pick up their meals.

· Cafeteria and serving areas will be cleaned between uses.
· Students may eat in various locations throughout the building to maximize social distancing.
· All CCISD child nutrition staff will use face coverings/masks and gloves.
· Implementing new card system to limit cash transactions.

Curbside Meals

  • Curbside meal service will be available for virtual learners at their home campus. The exception to this is for students that attend Clear Horizons ECHS, Clear View High School, and Clear Path Alternative Program. Students that attend these campuses will need to go to the comprehensive high school in their home attendance zone. All students that have returned to "Brick and Mortar" school will have meals available through the cafeteria.

Curbside meal service will be available on days classes are in session and students will be able to pick up a breakfast and a lunch at the same time. Students or parents will need to be able to provide proof of enrollment at the time of meal pick up. No meals will be given without proof. Proof can be the student’s school- issued ID or enrollment information through Skyward.

    Effective September 14, 2020

    • The Child Nutrition Department will be switching to a new pre-order system for curbside meal service. If Clear Connections students would like to take advantage of curbside meals, orders will need to be placed in advance on Schoolcafé.

    • Curbside meals are to be picked up at the front entrance of the students campus during regular lunch period times. Upon arrival, the parent or student will need to locate the “Online Order Pick Up Zone” sign and call the cafeteria phone number to receive their meals.

*Students that attend Clear Horizons ECHS, Clear View High School, and Clear Path Alternative Program will need to call the cafeteria phone number for their comprehensive high school in their home attendance zone to pre-order their meals.
