League City, TX - On Wednesday, February 13, Creekside Intermediate held its first community/family learning event, "Eat. Play. Learn." Over 400 people attended the event that night, there was a great turnout.

Judy Paulson, Creekside's librarian, organized the event with one of the highlights being Maker Space. Creekside teachers and instructional coaches helped in many ways in order to make this successful event possible. "I was Wowed by the turnout," said Mandy Scott, Creekside Intermediate School Principal.

The instructional coaches not only helped pull engaging activities for families, they also stayed and volunteered their time in the evening. Over 50 students from Clear Springs High School also volunteered to assist at the various stations.
