Posted on 01/23/2019

The Clear Creek Independent School District is taking its news to the airways.

The District will launch its new podcast, Car Rider Line, which will provide an innovative outlet of two-way communication with the school community. The bi-weekly podcast will dive deeper into a wide-range of educational news, district initiatives, achievements and resources with District leaders, area experts and other special guests. Episodes will also be recorded live on the Clear Creek ISD Facebook page so listeners can join in on the conversation for that week before the episode is published.

“We are always looking for cutting-edge ways to inform and connect with our public,” said CCISD Chief Communication Officer Elaina Polsen. “This new platform allows the community to easily learn more about the inner workings of the district anytime and anywhere, whether they are sitting in the car rider line, commuting to work, or running errands.”

The first episode will be recorded live at 12 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, and will cover in-depth information about course registration for the 2019-2020 school year. CCISD Director of Guidance and Counseling Natalie Uranga and Director of Career and Technical Education Dana Morgan will be talking through the registration steps and different opportunities for intermediate and high school to make sure students get started on the right foot and continue success through their educational careers.

Future episodes will be released every other week throughout the rest of the school year and are scheduled to cover topics ranging from school boundary changes and vaping, to parenting resources and graduation highlights.

Listeners can join in on the live recording every other week at, and subscribe to the podcast on Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Stitcher or Spotify once the first episode is published.
