SUPERINTENDENT TARGETS

  1. We will inspire learning through an array of personalized opportunities and experiences.
  • Curriculum and flexible scheduling that support student choice and personalized learning.
  1. Develop a standards-based grading and reporting system for students in PK-1 including drafts of revised progress reports and report cards.

     

  2. Develop systems, including but not limited to site implementation plans and professional learning plans, to support blended learning and Universal Design for Learning.
  1. We will provide support to meet the needs and aspirations of each student.
  • A systematic approach for instructional and behavioral supports for each student.

     

  • Implement the CCISD Long-Term Budget Plan.
  1. Enhance student achievement through improvement in specific growth measures:

     

  2. Increase the success of students receiving special education services and students identified as English Language Learners increasing System Safeguards to 92% or greater.

     

  3. Increase the percent of students meeting performance expectations, as passing standards increase, on all tested areas on STAAR to 88% or greater.

     

  4. Increase the percent of students meeting Advanced performance, as passing standards increase, on all tested areas on STAAR to 22% or greater.

     

  5. Increase the individual achievement of students receiving new intermediate intervention curriculum on state assessments.

     

  6. Implement the long-term budget plan including staffing, employee compensation, and a long-term facility needs assessment without the need for a Tax Ratification Election (TRE).

  • A CCISD Behavior Framework to focus on the social and emotional well-being of all students and staff.
  1. Issue a report to the community outlining safety enhancements that have been completed at all schools and district facilities.

     

  2. Increase the percent of parents who report that campuses are safe and secure as measured by the district climate survey to 90% or greater.

     

  3. Develop the elements of the CCISD Behavior Framework.

  2. Increase the percent of students who report they understand and apply digital citizenship on the L2L survey to 89% or greater. Gather baseline data of digital citizenship violations.

     

  3. Enhance usage and application of L2L through improvement in specific growth measures as follows:

     

  4. Increase the percent of parents reporting their children regularly use a district issued device on the L2L survey to 70% or greater.

     

  5. Increase the percent of teachers reporting they incorporate the use of student devices in their lessons on the L2L survey to 50% or greater.

     

  6. Increase the percent of students reporting they use a tablet, laptop, or computer at least a couple times per week in each of their core classes on the L2L survey to 70% or greater.

  1. Deepen connections in PK-12 Communities through enhanced scheduling systems, sharing of information, replicating best practices, and focused instructional leadership visits.

     

  2. Through the expansion of community education and the launch of a new district website, increase the percent of community members and parents reporting they are satisfied with district communications on the district climate survey to 85% or greater.

  1. Enroll a minimum of 94% of parents in Skyward Family Access.

     

  2. Increase the percent of parents who report they receive useful information to help their children on the district climate survey to 70% or greater.

  • An instructional coaching model to facilitate the building of teacher capacity.

 

  1. Through a multiple method case study approach gather data to determine the impact of instructional coaching on the achievement of campus identified student performance goals.

     

  2. Increase the percent of teachers reporting that they receive helpful feedback about their teaching on the district climate survey to 85% or greater.
