Recognitions (VIEW PHOTOS)

Students from Stewart Elementary led the pledge.

Symantak Payra of Clear Brook High School and Amber Nguyen of Clear Lake High School were honored for being named as semi-finalists in the Broadcom Masters. The Broadcom Masters is the nation’s most prestigious Science, Technology, Engineering and Math competition for students in grades 6-8 with only 300 semi-finalists nationwide.

The Clear Creek ISD Board of Trustees was recognized for being named the 2014 Region 4 Honor Board and for being named a state finalist for the 2014 Texas Honor Board award. The award program is hosted by the Texas Association of School Administrators.

Board Items of Interest
  • All items on the consent agenda were approved.
  • The board held a public hearing on the State Financial Accountability Rating. The school district received a Superior Rating for the 12th consecutive year in a row. (Click HERE to view the report)
  • Taxpayers in the Clear Creek Independent School District will not see a tax rate increase.  The approved tax rate is $1.04 for the Maintenance and Operations Fund and $0.36 for Interest and Sinking Fund also known as the debt service tax rate.  To learn more, click here. 
  • The Guaranteed Maximum Price for major renovations of Clear Brook High School was approved at $23,641.325. The funding is primarily through the 2013 CCISD School Bond program as well the CCISD Capital Plan. Click here to view the plans for Clear Brook High School.
